010. Lazy (Writer)

In the mid 00's when I was a teacher at the art college in Belfast we were talking a lot about how writing helped your thinking. Although the phrasing ended up a bit cruder, most often expressed as "a lazy writer is a lazy thinker", the sentiment was the same:

"Writing is thinking. To write well is to think clearly. That's why it's so hard."
